Back home where I come from, we had all kinds of weird stuff going on. Rumors becoming reality--that sort of thing can really put a damper on your day. It's how I died, actually! Anyway, if that was happening here, all someone would have to do would be to mention them, right?

Thing is, I don't actually have a lot of proof, and the one responsible for it isn't here. At least, as far as I know. He's a real creep and I think I'd know if I met him.

[A quirk of her brow. Huh! Didn't expect that.]

Well, Dem took a poll a while back, but it's kind of a tricky question, so I haven't asked around again lately. But hey, you're definitely invited, Maya.

That's definitely something else. Admittedly, I'm not sure how much water that holds... but it's a thought! Something to be considered, if absolutely nothing else. Would the rumor just require one person saying it or what?

All it would take is one person to tell another, and honestly, people can't really keep stuff to themselves. I mean, gossip is natural! That person might tell a friend or two, and they'll tell friends... but all it would really require, as far as I know, is a minimum of a few people.

... In other words, if that is what happened, then it wouldn't be hard. Vatheon IS a city, after all.

Nah, it was a ways back. Before you got here, I think! I'm not against swapping a bit, but well, touchy subject for the others, I think.

Well, yeah! It sounds pretty silly, but... you know, sometimes things just happen. If I a kid read a book about one and went on about it, that would be enough. It's really hard to say, though! I doubt it was planned by them, though.

Mmmm. Too bad for them. But hey, I think this is an excellent chance to get rid of them all! I have to say that as long as you can do something about your problems, why not go for it?
