Seems like the influx of newcomers has stopped as predicted, huh? I'd like to take the time to say "hi!" to everyone here, new and old, if we haven't already met. I'm Maya Amano, and it's nice to meet you! Things can get a little hectic here, though it's mostly a nice peaceful place, so don't worry! We'll get through this together.

[ Moving topics, she holds up what appears to be a magazine cover. The words "COOLEST" are on the front in English, and at the bottom is a little "Kismet Publishing". ]

Right! And on that note... news. Yes, that's right, this journalist is looking for her first big scoop~! If you guys have anything you think is news-worthy, call your Ace Reporter, and I'll be there in a zip, okay?

I'm currently looking for stories to collect, so if any of you guys would like to tell me about yourselves, your home world, what you do, or especially about any dreams you have of the future, I might feature you in Coolest's first issue, next month! Or I may even save your story for another issue. I'm aiming for everyone to get to know each other better on top of learn about Vatheon here itself with my magazine, so I want to do a spotlight column on all of us foreigners. I don't care about what you did back home, even if you were what you'd consider "ordinary" or not!

Because "ordinary" is really only a few letters away from "extraordinary", don't you think?

So you were a reporter back in your world, Miss Maya? Was it just the magazine you worked on or did you do other things too? How do you like being a reporter?

But I really love being a reporter. It's been my dream since I was little. Of course, my boss kind of doesn't like my work or me in general really, but that's okay! Working on an article is how I met all my friends back home!

Tatsuya-kun and the others, well... you could SAY we have another job: whooping demon ass~!

Sometimes we talk to them a bunch, too, to get Tarot cards from them. It's pretty complicated, but we kick major ass together around our city!

...I've never tried to get tarot cards from kishin eggs. Then again, I don't think they can be negotiated with like the creatures in your world.

[Whoops, going back into that own world talk again.]

Um--kishin eggs are what we call the corrupted souls that eat other souls in hopes of becoming the next demon god. It's...not really so complicated, but it's pretty consistently problematic for our world. That's why the Academy is around in the first place.

Joker-sama sent them after us. They were actually pretty stealthy, no one else would see when they'd attack us, even INSIDE buildings! But they were approachable.

The Tarot are for summoning our Personas, though, so we needed to learn what sort of things made them interested in us, and not just... interested in killing us.
